Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

At the start in high school Sasha was a transsexual and came out to the world as such. Sasha was not a smooth transition, but he knew that with the help of his family and music Sasha would be able take it on. Jim and Sasha - both songwriters - have just recently formed an official band. Since then they've appeared in numerous local venues, including open mics. Although The Voice coaches did not talk about Sasha's background, the duo and Jim discussed their journey to where they are today in a video introduction prior to the show. Sasha and Jim spoke about their favorite music and how they first played guitar at age six. He was able to learn the musical form faster since his father was an educator. Sasha is a female-born child, had a difficult time figuring out his identity. In an Instagram posting, he opened up recently about his struggle. Jim broke down in tears when he told the story of the reasons he wasn't able to participate in. Sasha Allen (The Voice contestant) was a little girl when she was born.
