Kellie Martin, an American TV and film actress popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston on the historical drama'Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". Additionally, she's well-known for her role as the lead on the Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department store buyer and a kindergarten teacher, Martin started her acting career at the young age of seven, when her aunt who worked as an nanny to Michael Landon's children helped her land a guest spot in the series of 1982 "Father Murphy.". Following her graduation of Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the smaller and large screen. Besides being an actress, Martin is also a talented photographer as well as a dancer. Martin is the mother of two and the official spokesperson for Lupus.
